PBR Art Contest Official Rules and Regulations

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. ELIGIBILITY:

Contest is open to U.S. residents who are twenty one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and their immediate families of the Pabst Brewing Company (“Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, agencies, and licensed alcoholic beverage retailers or wholesalers are not eligible to enter or win. The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. (CST) on August 30, 2011 and ends at Midnight (CST) March 1, 2012.

2. ENTER:

To enter contest go to www.pbrart.com, complete entry form and upload a photo of your entry. Entries must be entered in one of four categories: 2D, 3D Photography / Digital Media or Poetry. You may enter in each category and may enter as many times as you'd like. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Entries will be neither acknowledged nor returned and contest winners will be required to submit their original art to Pabst Brewing Company. This original art will also become the property of the Sponsor.

Photography / Digital Media
Accepted entries will feature the Pabst Blue Ribbon beer can or logo and will be at least 4" x 5" or 1200 x 1600 pixels in size. Files are not to exceed 2 MB. Photographs must be the original work of the entrant. Photographs may be altered digitally to create an entry.

2D
Accepted entries will feature the Pabst Blue Ribbon beer can or logo. Entries must be created by hand with traditional media and their size limited to 15 square feet . Contest submissions must be the original work of the entrant and the uploaded entry photo of the submission must not be altered in any way.

3D
Accepted entries must be constructed primarily of Pabst Blue Ribbon packaging including empty cans, empty bottles, cartons or other packaging. An additional secondary material may be used as support or framework. Entries are not limited by size or shape, but cannot exceed 20lbs in weight . Contest submissions must be the original work of the entrant and the uploaded entry photo of the sculpture must not be altered in any way.

Poetry
Submission should be a written piece of no more than 250 words that captures the spirit of the PBR brand. Submission may be in any poetry style. (e.g.haiku, free verse, etc.) Submissions must be the original work of the entrant.

3. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY.

By participating, entrants agree (a) to these official rules and to the decisions of the judges and Sponsor and its agents, which decisions shall be final in all respects; (b) to release, indemnify and hold harmless Pabst Brewing Company, their affiliates and subsidiaries and their respective directors, officers and employees, agents and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages or injuries of any kind resulting in whole or in part, from their participation in the contest and the acceptance and use of a prize; and (c) that Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries or mail. Late, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries are void. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel the contest at any time. (d) Entries may be posted on Sponsor’s website and (e) Sponsor may use likeness of entries on clothing, point-of-sale materials, posters or other marketing materials of their choosing. Entrants should also write their real full name, phone number and city on the back of the actual piece or affix a sticker containing this info onto the piece.

4. JUDGING.

Entries will be judged by PBC employees or judges assigned to this contest by PBC. All entries will be judged on creativity (50%), originality (25%), and ability to capture the essence of the brand (25%). One grand prize winner will be selected in each of 3 artistic categories. One runner up will be selected in each of the 3 artistic categories.

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION.

Winners will be notified by 6/1/11 by a traceable form of delivery and telephone. Winners will be required to complete, sign and return within a specified time period an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, a Publicity Release (where lawful) and a consent to its use by Sponsor in all media for commercial and other purposes without additional compensation. Failure to timely return of the required documents or if a notification be returned as undeliverable will cause selection to be void and an alternate selected.

6. PRIZE.

There will be 3 Grand Prizes awarded and 3 Runner-up prizes awarded. The 3 Grand Prize winners will receive $1893 in cash and one year of beer. The 3 Runner-up winners will receive exactly 1/3 of the Grand Prize: $631 and 4 months worth of beer. Contest is not valid in states where the award of cash prizes is prohibited.

No cash substitutions, transfers or assignments of the prize is allowed, except by sponsor for reason of unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Only one prize per household will be awarded. Winners agree that by accepting a prize each winner waives all liability against Pabst Brewing Company, its distributors, agencies, employees, sponsors, and third party vendors for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from winner's acceptance or use of a prize.

7. WINNERS' LIST.

For Grand Prize winner's name, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to "PBR Art Contest Winner List", 9014 Heritage Parkway, #308, Woodridge, IL 60517 by January 15, 2011.
